Trinity University

Trinity University is an absolute rock star of higher learning educational institutions. Trinity is widely known across the nation as a premiere university for undergraduate and graduate studies. Lucky for us, Trinity calls San Antonio home and many Trinity students call San Antonio their temporary, sometimes permanent home. San Antonio residents are very aware of the quality and and caliber of Trinity and are very proud that such a reputable university is right here in the Alamo city.

Trinity University - Level of Strength

The campus of Trinity is on the northeast end of Monte Vista and on the southern end of Olmos Park. Bordered by US Highway 281 on it's east side, Trinity is a centrally located in the heart of some of the most beautiful areas of San Antonio. Trinity University itself is very attractive with fabulous landscaping and red brick buildings that seem to be its signature visual characteristic. The surrounding homes add to Trinity's "upper end" presence and appropriately so. The school is home to Laurie Auditorium where many notable speakers such as Colin Powell, George H.W. Bush, Margaret Thatcher and Bob Dole have presented very engaging talks on numerous topics. The guest speakers alone indicate the intellectual strength and stature of this fine institution of higher learning.

Trinity University Students

Living in San Antonio, I have had the opportunity to work with and be around numerous current students as well as graduates. The quality of education is apparent when dealing with these people in the San Antonio workplace and socially. Trinity graduates and students are extremely professional and thorough in all dealings I've had with them. The school ranks in the top tiers across the country in many of its degree programs and is ranked the number one western Masters university by US News and World Report (2007).

The students spend their first three undergraduate years living on campus and are known to be more involved with their education than with late nights on the town giving Trinity the character of a "non-party" school. The fraternities and sororities in the Trinity Greek system are locally based and do not have fraternity or sorority "houses" off campus. Trinity Greeks are active in the community and perform service projects which benefit the San Antonio community.
