The Forum - San Antonio Shopping
The Forum shopping center, located at the southeast corner of IH 35 N. and Loop 1604 on San Antonio's northeast side is one of San Antonio's newer, and largest shopping complexes. The Forum is just North of Randolph Air Force Base and southwest of Retama Park. This giant shopping center is home to many chain stores and restaurants housed in numerous different buildings across the entire shopping complex. The Forum shopping center is almost its own small-town with a road, Agora Parkway running through its center.
The Forum Stores and Retailers
The south end of the main shopping center is anchored by Best Buy with a Home Depot and Kohls just to the south of the main complex. Both sides of Agoura Parkway are lined with stores, shops and restaurants that span the entire length of the street. As stated above, the entire Forum shopping complex is made up of many different buildings housing a multitude of different retailers and easily covers over 100 acres of shopping enjoyment. The bulk of the stores and retailers are national chains such as Party City, Best Buy, OfficeMax, Borders booksellers, Target and Hobby Lobby. Also located in the form shopping center is the ever present Starbucks coffee, almost at the center of the entire complex.
Restaurants include everything from Subway and other national chain restaurants to Sea Island Shrimphouse. the Forum is also home to several bars and pubs for after-hours enjoyment. In fact, the Forum is host to all kinds of local, regional and international cuisine.
