Hill Country Village

Hill Country Village is a great San Antonio community and is incorporated as a city on the north side bordering highway 281 on the east and Bitters Road to the south. The homes in Hill Country Village generally sit on large lots (acres in size) and is in the North East Independent School District. Somewhat of a "small town", Hill Country Village enjoys a quiet existence in the heart of a growing part of San Antonio.

Hill Country Village Living

Homes here could be classified as "ranchettes" in some cases as driving through Hill Country Village will showcase horse stables and riding arenas. This neighborhood has such a diverse collection of homes that one might be surprised that some of the residents live in homes the same size as the quarters for the live-in maid at a residence just up the street. Hill Country Village is a haven for wildlife and a short drive through the neighborhood will showcase ducks, deer, and swans. Some pieces of property have small ponds and I wouldn't be surprised if they were stocked with fish. In fact, some San Antonio residents slowly drive through Hill Country Village just to watch and photograph the "almost tame" deer. It is a beautiful community with natural hill country surroundings giving it a "secluded" feel.

Hill Country Village Homes

Houses in this area, as stated above, are quite diverse in size, architecture and appearance. You may find a house sitting on several acres of land and the home takes up one of those acres. There are gigantic houses with pillars and front gates that required a team of engineers to construct. Believe me, I've seen brick drives going several hundred yards to the residence with a front gate that cost more than I can afford in a house. Other times, you'll see a modest house with a neatly manicured and landscaped front yard. Hill Country Village is a very unique community with beautiful homes and some being outright massive.
